    Luxurious Bathrooms

Our master bath is in desperate need of a facelift.  You can tell the previous owner tried to make it look upscale based on the tile they used, but the execution is so DIY …like, gunky caulk lines DIY.  This winter, painting and caulking our master bath will be a priority project.

I take baths pretty often in the winter, and there is nothing like a cozy tub!

A chandelier over the tub! tres chic.  The windows, the marble vanity, the rug, it’s all so gorgeous without trying too hard.

    I adore that tile!

If you like the spa feel, go for white or natural elements like wood, stone, and foliage.

This looks like heaven. The small tile, walk in shower, stacks of fresh towels!

    Brick & Wood

Although I haven’t been in the rustic mood lately sometimes I find a space that has brick and wood mixed together so perfectly, I could imagine falling in love with the space and living there. Here’s a few reasons why I love the mix:

I'd love to curl up on that chair and take a nap in the sun

It looks so natural and with the natural materials brings the neutral colors which makes it easy to furnish however you like!

It can really be dressed up to look luxurious! You don’t have to go rustic with it. There’s something about mixing it with some high end materials can give it a very classy look.

tufted headboard...getting one of these in the future! and love the simplicity of the exposed brick and wood floors with large windows...id love that

Not a fan of the red brick? White washing is always an option. It still looks amazing and can add a little brightness to the room as well.

A beautiful transition between in and out...

Go all out with some great detail by mixing the brick and wood in the flooring! This look has so much character but it doesn’t take away from the rest of the house either. I absolutely love it!

    Timeless Inspiration

Finding that perfect piece of furniture to fit your space isn’t always as easy as it seems. Luckily there are plenty of timeless iconic pieces that have been making statements and creating inspiration over the years.

This chic colorful armchair adds a little hint of playful to a room but keeps the glamour alive! Perfect for small spaces where you are looking for a little more seating but you don’t want it to just blend into the wall!
Looking for something a little more rustic and original? This coffee table would definitely be the talk of the room and pull together your room for a finished touch. The gorgeous wood taps into the traditional design but the wheels keep it modern and almost give it an industrial feel!
Going for a rich luxurious look? A desk like this would make anyone feel like a professional! I love the sleek look of the drawers and the rounded edges of the legs. It screams elegance!
If comfort is more you style then sit back and relax in this gorgeous simple armchair. This seat may not steal the scene in your room but it will definitely be a favorite among many!
All of these pieces have been acclaimed iconic design and will be timeless additions to your home. You  might even consider them a piece of art! Each of these pieces have been found via Infurn who is known for providing great classic pieces of furniture at affordable prices.

    Glamorous bathroom eye candy

I have a million deadlines looming and I’m in desperate need of a little escape.  One escape I indulge in a lot, especially during the winter, is a nice, hot bath. So, I thought I’d find some dreamy ones and share them with you.

I love the wall cladding in this picture. It really looks luxurious! If you are not a tile person or want to avoid grouting, cladding is definitely the way to go.

I would probably live in this bathroom if it were mine.

  • Ultra luxe, super glamorous spaces

    Ultra luxe, super glamorous spaces

These rooms are truly some of the most luxe, glamorous spaces I’ve seen.  If you are a girly-girl, love the feeling of satin and velvet on your skin, and don’t shy away from drama – these will definitely speak to you!

Amazing mirror, fab wallpaper.  A mix of textures keeps monochrome interiors from feeling flat.

White, black, and shiny surfaces (check out the ceiling!) is instant drama

    …even the rug has sparkles…

While I appreciate the beauty of this dining room, I couldn’t live life without pets and children 🙂

    Love the floor!

Could you live in these spaces?  What ideas could you take from them and incorporate in your living space?

House Tour: The golden age of Hollywood, a glamor girl’s dream…

Home feeling a little lackluster? This space by Sarah Gilbane should inspire some ideas for adding a little glam back in your home…

The glossy stripes on the wall add glitz, while the grasscloth on the ceiling warm the space up a bit…

The pendants are feminine, but not too girly

Some garden stools add a bit of Chinoiserie to the more restrained library space.

The bedroom’s color palette is what really makes the room traditional Hollywood glam.  Pink, black, and white…what’s more starlett than that?

Is this space too feminine and glamorous for you, or would you be right at home here? via Tradhome Mag
