Recently we moved Leo out of his crib and into his first “big boy bed” – a toddler bed that is actually a bit smaller than his crib. Beau, now 7 months, has taken over the crib. I can’t believe Leo will be 3 in June. As many of you know watching your little ones grow up can be so bittersweet. He has transformed from my baby to a little boy. That’s why it was sort of weird to realize I needed to find some bedding for his toddler bed. Enter Magic Linen. I wanted something that had a certain level of maturity with just a little touch of preciousness. I also needed something affordable but also great quality that could be passed down to his little ones if he wanted.
I chose the soft gray duvet and sham cover because the boys’ room is in a really pale grayish blue. All the colors Magic Linen offers are gorgeous.
I don’t think I had ever really handled good quality linen, and I was really surprised at how soft and smooth it was.
Their product description sums up the bedding perfectly:
“The texture of this natural linen bedding will add a soft, natural, warm feeling to any nursery or toddler’s room. Linen fabric, as well as being wonderfully comfortable, will protect your child while sleeping, as it is anti fungal, antibacterial, anti allergic, and very breathable.
Stylish and timeless, this linen bedding for children is something to pass from generation to generation.”
I also didn’t know that linen is a fabric that insulates in the cold AND the heat.
The quality of Magic Linen is instantly apparent down to the perfect little pom poms, the subtle but elegant tag, and the inset duvet zipper.
Leo has been loving the bedding so far. I love that the duvet itself will provide a perfect weight summer blanket.
Leo shortly after he had learned to walk.
