Making Room for What’s Important

I recently read an article about my generation that really resonated with me. It’s that my generation has a different point of view that’s not being ridiculed! It’s actually being implemented, and praised. What is it about? It says we are more interested in finding a work / life balance.
We’ve seen the successes of working from home and how it’s given us the ability to lose the commute, lose the cost of eating out, gas, and other expenses. We’ve been able to spend more time with or family and do it on a budget that isn’t ridiculous for this economy.
We have seen generations before us spend an entire lifetime working away and struggle to retire. We have learned to live with less and enjoy it more!
Our bosses may be in the previous generation and see that work comes best when it’s in an office environment but we’ve proven them wrong. We can get more done in a smaller amount of time. We are healthier, happier, and willing to work harder just to be home.
We are a generation that’s not afraid of change.
