Wall Inspiration: Walls that Make A Statment

    Wall Inspiration

Lately my eyes have been drawn to some great rooms that are making a statement and I am loving it! Whether they are bold, classy, or just downright elegant, it is nice to see someone take a chance and make something beautiful out of it.

This wallpaper would not be an immediate first choice for me but it definitely does make you stop and stare! Seeing it in this room really makes me love it more! If you can’t commit to a whole wall in wallpaper, consider some wall decals or smaller wall decorations from a resource like https://americansignletters.com/.

A wall of windows is always eye-catching. The bold choice of black makes it stand out even more and I think it was a great choice.

Another non traditional wall paper in a room you wouldn’t expect! Since bathrooms are small I tend to do with less is more in these areas but since the wallpaper has a lot of white space it really works here! I also like the simplicity of the color scheme.

Upholstery tacks are often seen on furniture, seeing it as a wall decor statement is something I’ve never considered.

  • Black & Gold

    Black & Gold

Black and gold are colors that tend to stay in trend. You can’t go wrong with either one and they can look really classy done well.
Since black can get dark and dreary quickly, I always suggest a great balance of natural light and/or white.
The touch of gold gives it a great shine to contrast the black.

    Bench Seating Inspiration

Kitchen’s can always use extra seating. Formal dining rooms are nice but not always available in smaller spaces. Finding that balance between a kitchenette and enough space to seat a family is easier than you might think. Bench seating can create extra space where you might not think you have it.
With a traditional dining room table it would need to be in the middle of the room to allow for people to move around the chairs. If you need that room for other things, a bench seat allows you to put the table up against the wall and give your more floor space.

It can create seating where you thought you couldn’t have it. This little corner would normally barely fit two and a simple bench can add additional seating and storage.

Global Views High Point Market Does it Again

I keep seeing stunning things from Global Views High Point Market. There’s something to say about the quality and taste they have.
This time they are bringing red back into to style! A while ago I did a post on adding a pop of red into your home and I think they mastered this. Some of my favorite pieces are:
This bezel border pillow. Such a great way to accent your decor.

These stunning hexagon old world vases! You wouldn’t expect this color to go well with red but it definitely does.

The spotswood rug gives a very classy look without hesitating to catch your eye with that stunning red.

A bottle light fixture to give the room something shiny! You can find all these lovely things at Global Views.

What’s your favorite things about the room?
