    Outdoor Storage Solutions

It’s amazing how many outdoor things you accumulate as a home owner. It’s start slowly, just a few things you need in order to maintain the outdoors, then there’s outdoor entertainment, seating, cleaning, gardening, and before you know it you own a 10×10 tent just in case!
Find outdoor space you never thought you had with HINDO outdoor storage family. Durable enough to handle even the rainiest summer, HINDO lets you store anything from flower pots to gardening tools while keeping your outdoors looking beautiful.

What happens when you have all these items and no where to put them? You get creative.
My favorite way to get creative with storage is to have duel purpose items. Like a side table that duels as a storage bin!
If you're tired of replacing expensive patio furniture year after year, consider these built-in outdoor seating solutions. These creative benches help define the borders of outdoor rooms and create comfortable seating.

The garage can get cluttered pretty quickly, so using generic baskets and buckets in different sizes can help you keep things organized as your transition through your needs.
If you are someone who has outdoor parties often, finding something versatile like crates can be used as storage or seating!

  • Bathroom’s with a fun twist.

    Bathroom’s with a fun twist.

Most bathrooms in a home are just your average bathroom with a touch of paint or wallpaper and maybe an updated mirror. Here are a few that are anything but traditional!
To me this says, masculine doesn’t have to be boring!
Do: Spread the light around. Have several different lighting sources. Put them high, low and in-between.

  • A Beautiful Mix of Classic and Contemporary

A Beautiful Mix of Classic and Contemporary

At first thought, mixing a classic style with contemporary would not be my first choice. This pictures prove me wrong! There is a sort of elegance in it that stuns me.
It really brings out a luxurious side to decor. I am really impressed with the mixture of these two styles. Are you?

    Painting furniture

We have a few pieces of furniture that I am thinking would look great with a quick touch of some paint and would really add some dimension to my decor. Before I get in too deep, I’d love to here some success, and maybe some not so successful stories!
Have you done, would you do it, how did you do it!? I’d love to hear it all.
  • Bringing Life to the Indoors

    Bringing Life to the Indoors

This week I am rearranging my indoor plants and picking out which new ones I want to bring in! I’ll be taking a trip to our local nursery and finding some new beauties for our home.
Here’s some inspiration I am using:
An eye-catching light fixture and bright pops of color make this space feel chic and fresh. More ways to add color to your living room: http://www.bhg.com/rooms/living-room/family/real-life-colorful-living-rooms/?socsrc=bhgpin071713lightfixture=12

The benefits of a great rug!

There are so many benefits to a great rug.
It adds a layer to your decor. Some of us love layers!
They reduce the noise in the room. Rugs absorb noise so your room won’t echo as much.
It’s a great way to add color to a neutral room!

  • Bringing the Beach Indoors

    Bringing the Beach Indoors

Home decor should reflect where you’ve been, who you are, and what you love. If that is the beach, here is some great inspiration to make it a beach getaway indoors, even if it’s not outdoors!
These light fixtures are gorgeous and remind me of a lighthouse style!
A driftwood mirror is an easy DIY that looks amazing!
Beach decor doesn’t have to be blue, it can be simple and white too!
It can be as simple as some beautiful beach pictures.
Or a back splash that reminds you of the ocean.
Maybe it’s a basket of seashells and sea life!
Whatever it is, make sure you enjoy it!

  • Balancing a simplistic but eclectic style

Balancing a simplistic but eclectic style

If you have a tendency to collect beautiful things and want to show them off, that doesn’t mean your home can’t be simplistic as well. Here’s some great inspiration on pairing the two styles together:
  • Bedroom Seating

    Bedroom Seating

Decorating a bedroom doesn’t seem that difficult but decorating one with a joined seating area can sometimes get tricky! Finding the right pieces that compliment each other aren’t always easy to come by.
Picking tones that blend well together and using accent pillows to tie them in is a great start.

For rooms that don’t necessarily have  dedicated seating area, a bench at the end of the bed is a great alternative!

It’s important to decide if you want the seating area to stand out or the bed. Which one do you want your eye to gravitate to more?

Sticking with comfort and serene is a great idea since this is your bedroom, you do want it to be a place that creates a calm atmosphere.

A window seat does double duty! You have a great seating area with plenty of storage underneath!
